Robin Hudson, a designer with a lifelong passion for creating visual branding that connects. My work blends timeless artistry with fresh, trend-aware ideas, shaped by decades of creative experience and a genuine love for design in all its forms.

My posters celebrates the homegrown feeling of Farmers Markets - a place where you can shop, gather, and discover so many locally grown and handmade goods.
I wanted the brightness of the colors and movement of the artwork to capture the spirit of the marketplace as you stroll through it - full of warmth, charm, community, and local beauty. The elements reflect the abundance and welcoming energy that make the market so special.

Everybody has to pee - that’s how I found @kulacloth and their reusable pee cloth.
About the Art:
My artwork, Lucky Salmon, was inspired by the beauty of a Chinook salmon and the joy of spotting wildlife in nature. I first sketched the piece, then painted it in gouache using earthy tones and metallic accents to reflect the richness of the land, water, and natural habitat. My whimsical style and love of color theory helped bring this salmon to life with movement, personality, and a playful spirit.
Story Behind the Art:
When you are outside juggling a leash, gear, and the trail, having one hand free really matters. The story behind Lucky Salmon comes from my love of hiking, nature, and the peaceful inspiration I find in the backcountry. I often hike with my dog and truly appreciate practical gear like Kula Cloth that makes outdoor adventures easier, more efficient, and more eco-conscious.
This piece was inspired by time spent near Sol Duc Falls in Washington, where the beauty of the landscape and waterways stayed with me. I have traveled the world in search of nature and beauty, and my studies in art and design at the University of London and the College for Creative Studies in Detroit helped shape the way I interpret the natural world as a visual artist.
I painted this salmon in a whimsical way using deep earth tones and rich color to reflect the beauty of its habitat. To me, this fish feels “lucky” - a joyful little symbol of the wonder we experience in the outdoors and the importance of protecting the wild places and waterways we love.

Due to a snowstorm and resulting internet and cell service outages in my area, I was unable to submit my design before the CID banner deadline. Although I’m disappointed to have missed the opportunity, I’m proud to share this artwork, inspired by Seattle’s Chinatown-International District and created to help welcome visitors ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

“Where Creativity Meets Strategy & Passion Meets Purpose.”

At Robin Hudson Designs, my mission is to create distinctive work that blends artistry with practical purpose.
I believe design should be both beautiful & useful, & I approach each project to create connections that last & spark inspiration.
I’ve lived & worked across the U.S. & around the world, raised three daughters on my own, welcomed foster children into my home, cared for many beloved dogs & other interesting animals. Creating gardens with multiple purposes brings me joy. My family & these life experiences have taught me patience, creativity, & the importance of designing with purpose.
Through the Lens, I incorporate photography into my fine art and design work as both inspiration and a reference for projects, capturing textures, colors, and fresh ideas. Beyond my professional work, photography is how I document my life, preserving memories of family, friends, & the beautiful details that might otherwise be forgotten. My loved ones often count on me to capture those moments, turning them into keepsakes that last a lifetime.
I license my artwork and designs and, as a multimedia artist, collaborate with brands, businesses, and creative partners to bring ideas to life through impactful graphic design, original art, and licensing opportunities. Every project blends strategy with heart and experience with inspiration, creating work that feels authentic, meaningful, and visually compelling.
